[Word] [Excel}
Hi All,
I have created a user form in word and its loaded when document is active. I have text field where user enters a unique number. Upon button click I want the unique number to be verified by looping it in Excel sheet and upon successful find the values in all the cells for unique to be transferred to string variables or in array form back to word.
I have another mail merge macro which will then use these string values to populate the table along with other fields

what code do you have so far, how are you automating excel
see the tutorial for automating office applications, in the faq thread at the top of this forum
i do my best to test code works before i post it, but sometimes am unable to do so for some reason, and usually say so if this is the case.
Note code snippets posted are just that and do not include error handling that is required in real world applications, but avoid On Error Resume Next
dim all variables as required as often i have done so elsewhere in my code but only posted the relevant part
come back and mark your original post as resolved if your problem is fixed
