[RESOLVED] Q about moving to VS2008

Greetings,

I like to install VS 2008 - at the moment i am running 2005.

Do i need to deinstall 2005 before i install 2008 or is 2008 overwriting 2005?

Any advice would be appreciated :-)

Both will run just fine side by side. I have VS2005, 2008, and 2010 all installed on this system, and there has never been a problem. Just go ahead and do it. Uninstalling VS2005 is purely optional.

I have no problem running 2005 and 2010 .Net but there is a problem with the crystal Reports that comes with 2010 pro. I went to the SAP forum and was told I need to remove all the 2005 CR references. Since I have clients running these 2005 apps I'm not able to do this. The SAP rep said it will probably be fixed in the next service pack. Have you had this problem?

I have never used CR, so I have not had this problem.
