Closing a thread.

I can't close a thread I made. ThreadID=12732.

My password is correct and I get:

Parse error: parse error in /usr/local/etc/httpd/sites/vbforums.com/htdocs/postings.php on line 49

I am running IE4 & NT4 behind a firewall with all the latest patches.

How do users get their posted code to format so nicely?
Mine goes to hell when I post.

Maybe a help button on every page to give newbie users like myself an intro to the use of the board would have prevented this question.

I like one of the previous suggestions about having "resolved" placed somewhere on the post details once the creator is happy with the reponses.

And it will come in a nice box(like where this test is in)
PS. Remove the spaces between the [ and the ]

It's there already it's called FAQ(Frequently Asked Questions)(The one with the questionmark.)

That little tip you gave me (thankyou) is not in the FAQ.
Hopefully some administrative type places it there.

I would still like to be able to close a thread. My probelm is solved (thankyou to the board) but I get the error mentioned in a previous posting under this thread, when I try to delete/close it.

I notice that for the last 10 days there are no closed threads. Has this feature been inactive for a while, or are the board members inactive after they get answers?

The error that was meant to come up when you try to close a thread is one telling you that you cannot open / close your threads. This will be changing in the next version that I am working on at the moment, but for now, as it has always been, only moderators and administrators can close threads.

As for the FAQ, that will also get a makeover in the next version.
