    Socket Programming

There is a game engine called Eclipse. It was written in vb6 several years ago and has been improved on since then. I figured it was about time to move on and re-write in VB.Net. I have added all the features from the vb6 version but ended up using the Winsock_Orcas.dll for networking (bad idea for a online game).

Anyways, attempting to add sockets into this system has been one nightmare after another. I am not a professional programmer and have concluded to hire someone to help.

Anyways, I do not have alot of money but I can pay about 40$ or so to anyone who wishes to take this project on.

My Terms, I gotta add these just for heads up. I don't want the who engine edited, just the networking. I want to be able to test the work after it is done, at least the executable exe client and servers to test here at my house (you can put w/e limitation on them if you want). I will pay after I am allowed to test then you can send source.

NOTHING IS PAID IF IT DOES NOT WORK.

    You can contact me through.
Post here, or PM me here.
I mainly communicate with MSN, send me a PM and I will give you my address

Here is the current project with the messed up networking(along with other things)

    Re: Socket Programming

I thought I recognized your name from somewhere. Just don't tell Robin you're using .Net on his engine, lol.

Good luck and hope you get someone to help you out with the changes to EO.
