    Smile Re: vb6 error

Okay. Several weeks ago my hd crashed, c petition. Of course I had to reformat and reload everything. I reloaded office 2010 and vb6 enterprise. All of my development stuff was on the d petition so I didn't lose any of that. When I tried opening vbp files, with the data contro, I get the ISAM error message. So I tried a new app, instead of ISAM error I get the unreconized dataformat error. Hope this helps and thanks for responding.

As part of your re-installing, did you install the latest Service Pack for VB6?

The data control is one of the things which is very likely to have been patched at some point.

I'm not sure, but I would definitely expect it to.
