I just came across a random page about mike "parksie" parks, remember him??, very clever coder, sad what he did, got me thinking about coding again. Well i gave up coding about 2 years ago, think i might give it another try. What's the job situation at the moment, all gone .NEt i guess?

The market depends on where you are, but if you ask about VB6, most jobs are maintenance and conversions (rewrites) to .Net. C# is very popular (for some reason).

Or to Java, seen a number of those too.

I do some rip and replace of .Net with VB6 but those tend to be special cases. Almost everything goes the other way.
