A new section APEX
hi,
I've not been round here much hope you are all well.
I’m now working with 1980 tech you may have heard of it. It's called Oracle APEX the support is totally useless and the forum is almost unsearchable.
I think you guys in here would love to use this “new” thing that doesn't allow the use of Variables, Classes or anything else that is in use in modern (e.g VBA)programming languages. To store data to ensure its available globally it’s required that I use text boxes to store the data then reference that textbox when I need access to it!
Take a look here and see the ratio of responses to views
http://forums.oracle.com/forums/foru...D=137&start=15
I don’t mind struggling on with doing things a different way but this seems like a step back.
Anyone here use APEX it is good for basic imput output applicaitions and for RAD/Proof of Concept but other than that not my cup of Java.
Rant over.
David
