Yeah! Just when I thought the Granny Smith was good enough for me, they bring out the Red Delicious, and now all I can't stop thinking about is the Red Delicious, even though I recently bought the Granny Smith and there is no other real reason to buy the Red Delicious except from it BEING RED AND DELICOUS OMG WANT WANT WANT WANT!!!!

You are a total and utter 'tard. You actually LIKE Red Delicious apples? You are contributing to the banality and utter blandness of all civilization. Of course, I'm not sure what kind of 'tard that makes you. If you were a Mactard, you would probably go for the Honey Crisp, which is a very good apple, but not nearly as good as the hype around it.
Personally, I like the Braeburn, but I recognize that my selection is so severly limitted that my choice is skewed. I haven't had a good Northern Spy in YEARS, probably because they aren't grown in this part of the country, but possibly, just possibly, because white-bread cretins still keep buying Red Delicious.
Gah. I was gonna rip on BOTH of those two. I do like Fuji to the extent that I would buy one if I couldn't find something better. Golden delicious may not even be a variety anymore, since they are so inconsistent from place to place that they hardly seem like the same apple.

You just wouldn't understand, the Red Delicious (RD) are of better quality. Every time I take a bite out of the RD, my mouth waters every time. Can you say the same for Braeburn? Every time I've ate a Braeburn, it takes all weird and funny in my mouth. I just don't get how you eat that junk. Honestly, I gave the RD to my mum, and straight away she loved the taste. With Braeburn, she took ages just to enjoy the taste, and what would you rather have, huh? A taste that you can enjoy straight away, or a taste that takes ages to enjoy?
And I'm not a 'tard, I just passionately love Red Delicious apples. If only you ate Red Delicious apples for a week, you would then realise what you are missing out on.
It turns soft and mushy and disgusting within minutes of purchase. What you want is green. Any green apple is guaranteed to be crunchy.
But that's not good enough, the only good apple is a crushed apple. Drink apple juice. If you put the apple juice in a nice glass, you can even pretend it's some alcoholic drink and that you're a grown up having that alcoholic drink.
They usually taste a lot better. I stopped eating non organic Apple's once I learned that they coat them with shellac to make them really shiny -- it contains insect larvae

Why would anyone over the legal drinking age limit do this, supposing people who aren't interested in drinking don't really care about looking like a grown up having an alcoholic drink, and people who are alcoholics would just drink alcohol?
