Re: Its a challenge
They Both tell the truth on Sundays, so it cant be Sunday, or else both of them would have said "Today is Sunday"

Re: Its a challenge
Well, I don't know about that. I was trying to demonstrate how you might answer the question using lateral thinking. The question itself, after all, makes no reference to the twins' statements.

Re: Its a challenge
If it were Sunday, then B wouldn't have said Tuesday.
So it is not Sunday, A is lying.
Which means B is telling the truth.

Are the twins genetically different or genetically identical?

Re: [RESOLVED] Its a challenge
One of them is telling the truth, since they both can't lie on the same day. That's how you know its Tuesday.

Re: [RESOLVED] Its a challenge
I've also been ask this kind of logical question in the past
Two guys, one always lies, the other always tells the truth.
Each one of them is guarding a door, one door leads to your death, the other one sets you free.
You can only ask one question to only one of the guys.
Based on the answer you get you should be able to know for sure which door is the safe one.
(Hope these explanations a clear enough)
Oh and another one :
A guy stands in front of his King for a crime he commited.
The King tells him : "If the next thing you tell me is the truth, I'll cut your troat, if its a lie I'll kill you by fire."
The guy survived, what did he said ?

Re: [RESOLVED] Its a challenge
For the first one you ask "What door would the other guy tell me to take"
The lyer would tell you that the truthful guy will tell you to take the door to your death.
The truthful gut will tell you the lyer will tell you to take the door to your death.
Just take the door opposite the one the guy tells you to take.
Waiting in suspense for the second answer......

Re: [RESOLVED] Its a challenge
For the second puzzle: "I am going to die by fire". That throws a spanner in the works, so the King forgives him.

There's a radio show called cartalk on NPR which has a puzzler section in it. Some of the puzzles are unique.
Everything that has a computer in will fail. Everything in your life, from a watch to a car to, you know, a radio, to an iPhone, it will fail if it has a computer in it. They should kill the people who made those things.- 'Woz'

Lots of Hindu people, for one.
In Sanskrit, it means Air or Wind.
