One thing that's nice about having fewer entries is that voting is easier. Fewer photos to choose your favorite 3 from. I found 9 that I especially liked and then one by one I eliminated 6.

Damn that's a nice lens. Do you get the chance to do much photography? You don't seem to upload to flickr much, just wondering if you have a better outlet for your work...
Sadly not as much as I would like, thanks to a day job requiring me to leave my flat at 0630 and return between 1900 and 2300 most days.
But if you accepted more of your invitations, you might get a chance to see......

Yes, sorry, too late for new entries. We do however do this twice a year in February and August. The number of photos submitted this time was fairly small and I mentioned above that I might not do it again but I'll think about it.

I'm doing you a favour. You really wouldn't want to share a house with me. Anyway I have no idea who is going on your little outing apart from the frog (and now by deduction: you). Perhaps the invitations could be a little more forthcoming in the information department? "lulz, j00 wanna go vacayshun wiv us or wot?" really doesn't cut the mustard old chap.
Who said you'd be staying in the house? I guess the garbled invitations are what you'd get when you send the frog to do the job. At least we didn't get visualAd to do it, or you'd be booking a room in ward 14 to undergo a spleen transplant.
Yesterday I took this shot with my little Samsung Digimax 530. Maybe I'll enter it into the next contest if there is one. The little sliver of water that you see is the Salton Sea. Taken about 200 yards from my home.

Please don't stop arranging these contests. Everyone here doesn't have good photography skills and is just the reason why the participation is so low. But they like the pics posted and appreciate them.

Congratulations to the winners. 4 way 1st place tie. Interesting.
quote from Post #1.
We have a 4-way tie. The number in parenthesis is the number of 1st place votes.
1st: 03myersd #3 (3), chris128 #1 (2), chris128 #2 (2), DeanMc #4 (1)
Thanks to whoever voted for my entry #1. That was taken on the same day and within a few feet of the photo of mine that won 3rd place in a previous contest.
