Resolved [RESOLVED] Forums going really slow

    Hi,

Did I miss a forum upgrade notification or did Joe fall off his unicycle again? The forums have been going slow for about the last hour. What is going on?

    Thanks,

    Nightwalker

    Agreed.

I am seeing the same thing. Forums are really slow to load.

I'm just happy to know it isn't just me. Yeah, it seems really bad today. Maybe they forgot to feed the hamsters this morning.

I thought it was my internet connection at first because one minute I was browsing the forums, the next the forum was very slow and laggy. Also, I noticed some deleted posts reappeared.

There was an excessive amount of traffic on the site. Our techs were looking into this deeper.

Brad - have them unplug the internet & reboot it... kick everyone off the system...

one of the hamsters was getting a little old, couldn't run that wheel fast enough. We replaced him. But fear not, he does have a pension.

Maybe you need to re carpet the hamster's wheel? Lube the wheel with some WD-40? Perhaps add a 2nd hamster?
