    Just a thought...maybe blocking filetypes rather than enabling them? So you can stop people posting .vbs, .js, .exe, things like that.

    Someone may post a newly released virse-positive file that john hadn't disables.

    John DID enable .zip files, so we can still post harmful files, so john SHOULD really block instead of ALLOW...8)

    Yes but Microbasic, that's where trust comes in. This is a site of a bunch of programmers who should be a bit experienced and not upload viruses, but helpful stuff instead. Besides, if someone comes across a virus, when they scan it, they can always tell John and I'm sure John'll just ban the person, so no one should be that stupid enough to post a virus on here .

    my opinion on the virus matter is I have seen a sys admin open A virus once then after he learned it was a virus opened it again but %99 of experienced computer users will not open an exe or vbs or js without knowing the sender and confirming(in case of worms) that they sent the file and its clean I have purposefully released hundreds of Viruses on my test system to find the damage and fix as quickly as possible
