Hi Guys,

Guys I'm getting really desperate

I've been competing in an American Swiss competition since the beginning of the month, and have been in the lead since day 1.

I need people to vote for my photo in order to win a 1 carat diamond ring worth 50 000.

I've been ahead with 300 votes sinces yesterday, but I think the runner up is somehow cheating coz he managed to catch up in matter of hours. And Ive only got my 300 votes in 2 days.

Please help me!! You will need a facebook account to vote.

You can of course ask for any amount of fans and set your own price...

If you search freelancer for "Facebook" you will be surprised that there are many similar kind of bids...

but I think the runner up is somehow cheating coz he managed to catch up in matter of hours.

I wouldn't call this cheating... He is just paying for the "likes". I wouldn't be surprised if he has placed a bid here or in rentacoder.com

Now it depends to what extent would you want to go for...

Few suggestions...

Add this in your bid...

1) Specify your budget... else you will get weird response
2) Set a target of 1500 "likes"
3) Include this text

a) You will only be paid if the facebook fans stay on the page for more than 10 Days
b) Specify the number of current "Likes" that you have. the target will be (1500 + Number of current Likes)
c) Proof of prior work will be advantageous, esp. with references.
d) Any fans that are suspended in that time period must be replaced, or will not be paid for.
e) Please use only good practices for inviting fans (Facebook account must not be banned for your actions and kept active). You will not be paid if the Facebook account is banned/deleted.
f) BOLD - CAPS and UNDERLINED - Last date and time till the job needs to be done...

I have a bidder called dinasoft

Says he is asking .10c per like, and won 5 competitions. Can get me 700 votes in 2 days, but he said I can set the target. And his reviews looks good.

What does Milestone % mean ? Can't see in their FAQ what it's for.

Can't see in their FAQ what it's for.

Milestone means that you can set payments before hand so that the bidder knows that you are not a fake.

Do not release the milestone till the work has been done....

Did the freelancer bid help? If yes, how much did you actually had to pay for the votes finally and how many votes did you get?

No the freelancer only got me 300 votes in 48 hrs. He promised me 1000 after 24 hrs, and when he didn't deliver, I told him to release the money so that I can find someone else to do it. But then he again promised no I'll see 2000 before the deadline.

I told him I will pay him $20 for his efforts. Was suppose to pay him $60 when he got all the votes. He first didn't want to release the money. He said it will show up as incomplete for him, but I told him I refuse to release it on my side, and then wait for him to pay me back. Think he was trying to get me to release it and then run off with the whole amount.
