SMS Application

Hi,

Is there an event which will trigger when a sms is received in a connected mobile phone to the pc?

I did some search in the internet and found this:

I can send sms using above application, but can not read any sms in the phone.
'Phone reports generic syntax error or communication error'

So if I summarize, these are the problems which I do not have answers at the moment.
1. Is there a way to read sms in the phone/sim.
2. Is there a way to make an event trigger when a sms is received in to a connected phone?

I am using Nokia 3500C phone.

Any help and advise will be highly appreciated.

if i may recall, i think i have used that program to read sms from mobile phones...but i forgot the type/model of that mobile phone..i think i've used an older type...i've tested the codes in new mobile phones but no luck.Hope my inputs will help...
