    Starcraft 2

    13 years since Starcraft 1.
    7 years development time
    3 years since "It's about damn time" Trailer.

    Now maybe they can get around to resurrecting Starcraft Ghost (stealth shooter) and finishing Diablo 3.

    Someone at work today got the SC2 Collector's Edition. I spent about 10 minutes sniffing the nice plasticky smell.

    People queued for over a day here in Singapore, and there pictures of people crying and smiling (simultaneously) with their copies of the game.

    Frakking weird.

    Oh and just for fun, SC2 only comes with the Terran campaign. If you would like to actually play the full game that you paid for, you may purchase the Zerg and Protoss campaigns separately.

    I don't get it... I played SC when I was younger, and it was a decent game, but was it really that much better than, say, all of the other strategy games? Why are people going insane over this game?

    Have you seen korean's lately? Like at all within the last 2 years?

    I too really like broodwar and I will enjoy sc2 as well, but I'm not in a rush to go out and spent $60 for it, I'll wait for the price to come down.

    I'm not insane over the game but I did buy it. I got my package last night but haven't had a chance to set anything up or install it.

    I mainly got into it because a group of buddies I had back when I was 14 caught up with me and were going to get into it... So I guess I mainly got it for nostalgia.
