Re: Hai everyone!
Well then choose a project, get started, and post questions when you yourself have doubts! Almost everyone at vbforums starts out posting questions, and eventually also gets around to answering them.

And if he doesn't, put him in a head lock, and wrestle him into submission

Clearly, you have never wrestled with bugs before.
Everything that has a computer in will fail. Everything in your life, from a watch to a car to, you know, a radio, to an iPhone, it will fail if it has a computer in it. They should kill the people who made those things.- 'Woz'

The moves are all real, but the fights are all staged and the whole thing is an equivalent of a circus.

I once saw two women wrestling with soap all over their bodies. Now that was a real soap opera!
Akash, welcome to VB Forums. Two tips:
If you want people to call you 'champ' or whatever other name you want, don't go asking them to do it. Because then they will call you anything but that. Add a signature to your posts and sign it off as 'Champ'. Something like this:
... Here goes the post ....

Champ
The other tip is in the chit chat forum, people don't always mean what they post. There will be some who will help you, some who will make fun of you (good as well as bad natured), so if you want to hang around the chit chat forums, be sure you can check your emotions, i.e. keep them under control.
Regarding game programming, pick a simple game you want to develop. Say a tetris like game. Understand the different phases, such as designing the game, the sprites and the coding. Write them all down in a notebook and start working on it with whatever you know. Publish this game plan and your progress on it in a single thread in the Games and Graphics Programming section. This way the members who can help you out can keep a watch on what you are doing, suggest corrections and solutions in case you get stuck.
