    I love Google's voice recognition

    It correctly transcribed 'Roflcopter'.
Delete it. They just clutter threads anyway.

Where are you using Google Voice? I don't think I've used it a lot on Android.

No, not Google Voice, speech recognition.

Android has a nice API, and an XDA dev decided to build it into the HTC IME, so I can pretty much transcribe anything.

The only downside is that it needs an internet connection, because the speech is processed on Google servers.

Google voice is only available for users in the United States. It is a great texting tool, since it does texting for free.

    A side note:

I got to use the Evo this week. It has a nice HDMI cable, but as soon as you connect the cable to a television, it pretty much drains the battery of the hand-set.

I missed out the 'recognition' bit. I meant I've got it (on my Android phone) and have tried using it only a few times, it hasn't been very effective.

It's in the UK too, not just the US

Apologies, I appear to be suffering from textual comprehension diarrhea.

I'm talking about Google voice recognition.
I posted as Google Voice, meant Google voice recognition.
I saw your post about Google Voice, thought of Google voice recognition.

So yeah - we don't have Google Voice yet, I've got Google voice recognition, the APIs don't look too bad and also I'm going to step away from the computer now.
