Com To Screen
Ok i have been at it for 4 days now & i cant see how to get text from the serial com port onto the screen in visual basic 10? Is there also a way to filter out unwanted data & display what i need? Its part of a goal.

Re: Com To Screen
Yeah, the "COM" in this forum's title is Component Object Model and not "serial communication port" and has little to do with .Net programming most days.

Re: Com To Screen
So does anyone have a piece of code to show how this is done? All im looking for at the moment is the basics so i can understand that, then move on to extra additions. The first post by Hack had too much in it for me to follow.
