VBF Search

Why is it that the VBF Search doesn't support multiple words. I always have to search in Google if I want to search my posts in vbf

Say I want to search for "This is a music Player Addin for Excel 2003." which is the very first line in this thread...

Edit:

There is a limit on how short the words can be though! I think it is three characters.

Ok Try This

Type "CreateObject" in the vbf Search box and in the name type "koolsid"

You will get only 2 links

Now type this in google...

"CreateObject - koolsid vbforums"

Ten pages, I see! Although, the majority of the results are going to show even if they refer to vbforums in a post, etc but aren't actually on the forums.

Still it is giving more options than vbf...

That is strange! When I click on the link I posted above it gives me "No matches found".

That's because the search id's keep on changing

If you want to use Google to search VBForums, you should do it like below.

site:vbforums.com kfcsmitty

That returns everything that mentions on my name that is on vbforums.com and no other site.

I know it isn't an answer to your original question, but Google catches new posts on these forums so quickly there really isn't a difference.

Ah, I missed out the "site:" part of the search.
