Where is a good place to get icons for my app
I am working on a commercial app and am in search of some high quality icons and pngs for the app, but each site I go to is either offering the icons for free (not for commercial use) or charging 100's of dollars for the rights to use the icons commercially. If you know of any good resources for icons and images that can be used commercially at a reasonable price, please let me know. Thanks!
I looked over the available categories and could not find one that this topic belonged to so I placed it in the vb.net thread which is the language I'm using to develop the app. I'm sorry if I picked the wrong category for this.

I like using Icon Archive. They have some really great icons that fit a wide variety of situations.
Also, if you don't mind paying some money, you can look into vWorker. You place your request in for whatever you want and the max money you're willing to pay. Then workers bid on the job and you select the person you want to work on your project. You can even have them sign NDAs if you need it. The money is escrowed into vWorker but is not released to the worker until you accept the final work.
And lastly, the general developer forum is usually best for things like this
CodeBank contributions: Process Manager, Temp File Cleaner

Thanks, I'm still trying to get used to RAC being vWorker now. I've used them alot in the past, and they are great for somethings but it has been a real challenge to find someone on there that will design images to exact specifications or does not charge outrageously when they are skilled enough to do the job (that's been my experience with buying images and banners from there in the past). Iconarchive looks like a great resource but it appears the icons do not come with commercial useage rights. It would be great if there were a site like Iconarchive where you could pay a 1 time fee to have access to all of the icons with full commercial useage rights.

Thread moved to 'General Developer' forum.
I have no experience in buying icons myself, but sites that I've seen repeatedly recommended on the forums include: famfamfam.com, yellowicon.com, iconbase.com, icongalore.com, interfacelift.com
