[RESOLVED] I Can't Set Up Scheduled Tasks
Whenever I go to the Control Panel|Scheduled Tasks and go through the Add Scheduled Task process for any exe I get an I get an "Access denied" error while attempting to set task account information saying that I don't have permission to perform the operation. My scheduler is running however because I can see that Google has several jobs set up that have and do run often.
My OS is Windows XP professional and my account which is the only one on my PC is set up as an Administrator. My account does not have a password.

Re: [RESOLVED] I Can't Set Up Scheduled Tasks
Nevermind I got it working. I looked at one of the Google jobs and it had NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM in the "Run as" box instead of MyMachineName\MyAccountName and when I made that change it runs fine.

Re: [RESOLVED] I Can't Set Up Scheduled Tasks
i was going to say it's possible in computer management console to deny yourself permission to do just about anything. You can't be locked out of the console as far as i am aware, but it's still possible to lock down the rest of the account.
