Need someone with a blu-ray drive to test something.
Has anyone out there got a blu-ray drive and would be willing to do a little test for me?
I am trying to collect some information for my CSIT project and I have no local blu-ray drive to test with.
Thanks in advance!

I ran the test and the results are conclusive: I clearly have more money than you.

It's not that I don't have the money to buy one - I just got a new PC system but no Blu-Ray drives were offered as an option and I can't put one in without invalidating my warranty.
D'oh!

I ran the test too. The result is that I do not have a bluray drive, and I have less money than MaximilianMayrhofer and sciguyryan

I'm so glad we were all able to pitch in like this.

Re: Need someone with a blu-ray drive to test something.
What I need is simple enough for anyone willing to take a look.
Download this program. On the hardware tab, select WIn32_CDROMDRIVE from the drop down menu on the left. When it loads, find the drive related to the Blu-Ray drive in the main tree.
Once that is done here, please report back with the Caption and MediaType values, or take a screenshot and link it - which ever you find easier.
Thanks all.
