Access 2007, login as windows user, DO funcion, login back
Hello,
Thank you all for supporting me all the time. I appericate it
I have a question.
Im generating files with my VBA and then coping it to SERVER. Ofc only one user have grants to copy/delete etc, lets name it Mr.X
But many users gonna use my prog to do this. Lets say MrJack want to do this operation (copy files on server) but he have no grants. Is it possible to "login" as windows user as Mr.X do operation and logout?

Re: Access 2007, login as windows user, DO funcion, login back
probably easier to temporarily change the permissions on the server
i do my best to test code works before i post it, but sometimes am unable to do so for some reason, and usually say so if this is the case.
Note code snippets posted are just that and do not include error handling that is required in real world applications, but avoid On Error Resume Next
dim all variables as required as often i have done so elsewhere in my code but only posted the relevant part
come back and mark your original post as resolved if your problem is fixed
