word .dll for other accounts

Hi. I have a word addin .dll ( vb6 ) which adds a button to word and works fine. the issue is, when i log in the computer with another account, the button doesn't appear. any idea what's the issue and how can solve this problem ? thanks in advance!

If you are the administrator then install the dll for all the users so that it can be accessed from all user accounts.

the application ( with installshield ) gets installed for all users but still the button doesn't appear. i even logged with the the user account and manually registered the .dll ( regsvr32 ) but didn't work.

How sure are you about this? Did you make the install shield? Can I see it? Let me try and install it and check it for you if that is ok with you... and if that is ok with you then mail me the file and I will check it for you...
