    Arrow AVI : mciSendString

    Does anybody know how to play an avi in a specified area using the mciSendString call to stop it from spawning a new window? Remember i dont want to use any ocx's

    I, too, would be very interested in a solution to this problem. I can position the AVI picture where I need to, but there is always a second window loaded elsewhere on the screen showing the first frame of the film.

    Anyone know how to remove this?
