Junior Developer - Teeside Area

I am Senior Developer for a medium sized industrial company. We are currently looking for a junior developer to assist with new developments of our in-house management system (C# with VS2010).

There will also be some bug fixing and changes of existing projects (VB.net) and help desk duties. The application is a Windows front-end to a SQL Server database that employs data pen technologies and mobile phone communications through a seperate bespoke application.

Some C# and/or VB.net needed, at least a decent basic knowledge of OOP techniques and relational database experience would be an advantage.

This would probably be an ideal first job for a recent IT graduate who wants to get some practical commercial experience developing a real-world application within a small team. The successful applicant will be involved in the full lifecycle, from designing the database and business object structures through coding, testing and deployment.

We are based in Stockton and are close to good public transport links, so the post is easily commutable from all of Teeside to Bishop Aukland and surrounding areas.
