What do you think about this domain name?

Hi everyone,

I wanted to know what you thought of first when you read the domain name PersonalIntros.com? I have recently acquired this domain and not sure what to do with it. On one hand it could be thought of as a dating site. Or it could be a meeting type site. What do you think? Just seeing what everyone thinks!

A dating site is what first came to my mind. Career services was my second thought. It could be a kind of "we'll get your foot in the door" kind of a place.

Isn't your cart leading your horse here, though? Surely you'd be better deciding what sort of site you want to create then trying to aquire a relevant domain name. Doing it the other way round means you're basing your business decisions on an arbitrary external factor (what domain names are available) rather than what sort of site the market is going to use.

I may have read things wrong but I think we're discussing an instance of cybersquatting, not pursuit of a legitimate business venture.

Not exactly the sort of thing I'd discuss in public. But then I rank it down there near spamming.

Dating site.

My first thought was to delete this thread because someone is posting a question to get a link to their site. If you weren't close to a thousand posts, this thread would already be gone.....

That does't preclude a mod from deleting it soon, but you have a dating site domain name in my opinion. It would take a lot to change that perception.

Thanks for the dating site idea - I was leaning that way also although there are a ton of them out there.

No, Im not trying to get traffic to the site cause there is not any page on the server yet. Maybe I can make it a broad type meeting site that includes dating with possibility of other meeting ideas.
