Welcome to VBForums
You can't edit your posts yet, you will get that ability after you have been here a while.

Ah... Is a while measured by post number or time elapsed? How much time / how many posts?
Thanks,

I'm afraid that I'm not sure of the details, but you should get the option soon enough.

Okay, thanks. This is the weirdest system ever. Generally speaking, errors in posts are a bad thing, no matter the tenure of the member. Why does this rule exist? As an incentive?

Mistakes in posts are bad and it would be nice to allow you to remove them, but it is part of our anti-spam measures - and overall is a good thing.

I believe there is a 15 minute window during which time you can edit your post.

Re: Modify Post? Help!
That is because you are not a new member, so the time limit does not apply.

Si
Ah, I see.
I was thinking new member couldn't edit ... period ...
and that 15 min limit was referring to some other status.
Thanks for info.
