vb6 on Vista
Anyone know of any gotchas? Just loaded up, and besides Vista deciding that the setup prog wasn't compatiable the IDE is running without any issues.
Guess I should plug the machine in and hunt out the service packs.

The IDE works better than ever -on Windows 7 too.
Just disable desktop composition(alt+double click/right-click Properties, and goto the compatibility tab to set this).

Here's the tutorial I used to install it on W7, but it should be identical for Vista (except turning off UAC is a bit different), worked like a charm http://www.fortypoundhead.com/showco...sp?artid=20502

I can't remember what problems (if any) I have installing vb6.0 on Vista! I think I just had to copy the cd to a my usb to install though.
when you quote a post could you please do it via the "Reply With Quote" button or if it multiple post click the "''+" button then "Reply With Quote" button.
