[RESOLVED] Telerik Controls
Hi I wnat to use telerik controls to display report. I dont wnat to use Crystal Report. I want to use ,what us telerik,is it any dll???? How to use it? PLease help me out!! I am not able to understand!!
Is it freely aviable on net!!

Hey,
You can download a trial version of the Telerik controls from their website:
http://www.telerik.com/products/aspnet-ajax.aspx
However, in order to use these controls, you will need to purchase a license.

Hey,
It really depends on what your business case is. If you "need" the functionality, and don't have the time to implement it, then making the purchase makes sense.
Telerik licensing is actually quite good in that it is one license fee, and then you can deploy the controls to multiple instances/sites.

You'll find that most third party companies are actually selling their controls. They provide you with ease of use and more features and it's up to you or your line managers to decide whether you can go ahead with the purchase or not. If you can't, then you're going to have to stick to something that you do have - like SSRS, CR, or whatever's available to you.

Hi I heard first time dat we can also generate reports using SSRS...I m uisng the Oracle Database,Can i still use the SSRS to generate the reports!!!
