Who do you think is the funniest VBForums member? (funny signatures, etc.) Me, I vote mendhak & that guy with the dragon picture, mendhak for the frog and his funny comments, and the dragon guy for his "make as many mistakes as quickly as you can" signature.

I thank you for your vote moonman. Back around 1990 I read a book entitled Do It with a subtitle of Let's get off our buts. That's buts with 1 t because they mean, "I was going to do this but ...." Every lefthand page in the book had a quote that took up the whole page. One of them was, "Make as many mistakes as you can as quickly as you can." It made me laugh pretty good and what surprised me is how much mileage I was able to squeeze out of it. Even after all these years of thinking about it I'll sometimes return to that thought and I still get another laugh out of it.

What you call the dragon picture is titled a gorn. That's from a Star Trek episode. Captain Kirk was fighting the gorn single handedly in one episode. Something I remember about that episode is that in one of the scenes Captain Kirk was pushing this boulder. I noticed that his hand sort of squished the boulder in a certain spot a little bit. That was somewhat of a blooper which they should have caught. I remember many years ago when I went on a Universal Studios tour I saw one of those fake boulders that are made out of a sponge rubber material.

    Er... boulder you mean.

The episode was Arena. Sort of a cheesy script based on a short story of the same name Arena.

That wasn't among my favorite episodes but the picture of the gorn sort of cracks me up. I corrected my spelling thanks to you.

Well the Gorn was cool in its way for the times. Beats the STNG aliens that seemed little more than robes and Hallowwen masks.

What's funny is I was thinking about this thread this morning and I was thinking did I say, "That's buts with 1 b?" I actually corrected it before I even saw dclamp's post. You see I'm trying to follow my advice of making lots of mistakes.

<strike>Everybody</strike> <strike>most people</strike> some people here <strike>is</strike> are funny. Programmers have a better sense of humour than comedians.

P.S. I know HTML doesn't work. But you get the point. Is there a [strike]strikethrough[/strike] tag?
