Thread-closing mechanism to prevent bumping threads
Hello,
I know how you can prevent the bumping of threads -- if the thread is inactive for a certain period of time, the thread will automatically be closed.

So how does that prevent the OP bumping his thread after an hour he created the thread ?

You don't need to worry about the bumping of threads as we handle most of it. If you do find someone doing it excessively that we miss then please click the Report Post icon.

In general this forum is pretty good in terms of thread bumping, it is one of the few places I know where it doesn't happen that often.

Yes. The credit goes to our forum members as well as moderators and administrators.
I find that except for some new members, the forum members usually honor the moderators' decisions here as opposed to other sites where they usually prefer getting banned than listening to the moderators. And those new members are never seen again. So our moderators are doing a good job. Keep it up.
