Post Need VB Developer for P/T contract position

My name is Tim Bunce and I am the President of Oak Tree Technologies, a software development company.

I am seeking a VB developer for a module to add on to my existing product line for the new home building industry. This module is to help during the home selections process. Instead of having to print floor plans out and draw where you would like to have lights, electrical outlets and cable connections, the builder could pull these preloaded plans up on the screen and drag & drop these
5 or 6 symbols onto the plan and save it each time.

All I need it to do is retrieve the floor plans on the screen, add the symbols and print/save for each customer.

My company is a startup but we have several people working within the organization part-time and full-time and have just entered the marketplace with our software. We have just signed deals with several home builders and will soon be supporting a national
    home building trade show.

I am looking to provide a solid percentage of return on each sale for this product in exchange for development and maintenance of the software.

As I stated before, the software is taking off right now and this is a huge request from the builders. My development team mainly consists of database developers and they do not want
to take on this mainly GUI task.

I already have a prototype ready to look at.

    Hi Tim,

I would be willing to take a look at this project. I am an experienced VB programmer working within the SCADA / HMI industry, as a result of this I have a lot of experience working on GUI based software.

I see that you are located in the States so if I were to take on this project I would have to work remotely (I live in the UK).

If you are still looking for someone then I would be interested to see detailed plans of exactly what you want this software to do and how you want it presented on screen.

    Best regards,

    Rob Brown.

Hi, I am an advanced programmer (many people on these forums can vouch for me) and I am interested in your project.

Please E-mail me at [email protected], as I would like to hear a little more about it.

    Thanks.
