    CodeBank - copy code

There is a post in the CodeBank with code I want to copy. It has line numbers next to it:

    http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.php?t=469872

I've tried a few ways to copy it but it just spreads the code out into long strings that need cleaned up to be readable. Am I missing something obviuos to copy it?

No...there are problems with some of the code tags.

Hit the Quote button, then from the straight text portion of the thread, copy what you want.

Once you have it, hit the Back button so that you do not actually create/submit a new post to the thread.

If you use Internet Explorer, then i think there will be no problem for copying the codes.

That's better at least. I also cut and pasted it into a Word document which pastes it as a picture. From that picture you can copy the code and paste it. It brings in the line numbers which need deleted but keeps most of the formatting.

Microsoft IE. I just copied in a big piece of code. Visual Studio 2008 formats\indents the code as you remove the line numbers.

IE8 also. It just makes huge line in Word, NotePad, and the project. Maybe there is a setting I need?

    Re: CodeBank - copy code

Yeah.. I felt the same problem when I tried now. But previously there was no problem.
May be it's the problem with the script.

I usually use Firefox all the time. And uses IE8 only when Firefox crashes.
