Auto Insurance
I've been looking at buying a new car. I've got it narrowed down to a '11 Mustang GT, or a '08 Mustang GT500. My current insurance company (Geico) was going to charge me an arm and a leg, so I decided to start shopping around. Progressive was about $30/month cheaper than Geico, and All State was about $50/month cheaper than Geico. Have you had good or bad experiences with either of these companies? Any suggestions for other companies?

Dunno how expensive they will be for you, but I've used amica for 13 years now and I love 'em.

Using Google got these two that should give you comparison of insurance quotes from multiple companies. www.carinsurance.com and http://www.insurance.com/

Re: Auto Insurance
I switched to AllState to wrap all my various insurance into one. They don't do health insurance, though, so I just got some extra home insurance. Now, whenever I get sick, I have to visit a carpenter.
At least one of those sentences was the truth. I haven't had a problem with them, but I haven't made a claim, either.

I could also add that the agent is a pretty nice guy, and his secretary is pretty hot. The two of them spend all day alone in that out of the way office. The attractiveness of the secretary isn't a very good way to choose insurance agents, but if all else is equal...who would you like to have service your claim?

You mean if the company screwed you, you could screw her right back or something?

Re: Auto Insurance
try Progressive, esurance.com and The General ... I've got a few friends that have had Progressive for a few years now... haven't heard any complaints.
I haven't had to shop for insurance in quite some time, so I don't know how they compare with each other.

I had Progressive for a while and wound up leaving.... I have an 84 Vette the the price for that was outgraous (I was on my late 40's at the time). Found better rates from other companies still keeping the Vette.
