    new member - initiation needed

i just registered a few hours ago. when i post thread/stuff(whatever!), a closed envelope appears next to my thread - looks like a camera. could that have anything to do with the fact that no one has replied to my questions?

I remember the good old days when everyone was wanting to be initiated...hang on those days sucked.

The closed envelope means that there are no new responses in that thread. And the circle means that you have posted in that thread.

Doesn't it tell you what all the different Icons mean at the bottom of the page with all the threads on?
Now, aren't you sorry you didn't just keep on scrolling?

Howdy Nompi, welcome to the party. Be sure to hang out in the chit-chat section. It'll screw up your life, but it's worth it

Well, as part of your initiation. I would advise not getting p*ssed off with people (and preferably not p*ssing them off, which incidently is quite difficult with the majority of chit-chat goers) If some oneinsults you, insult them back, they don't mean it and neither should you, it's just a bit of fun. Avoid HarryW like the plague he is not a nice man Parksie, SurfDemon, Katie, DennisWrenn and a few others will always try and corrupt the innocent so steel yourself to them. And above all if you make lots of friends here DON'T BLOODY LEAVE cos everyone seems to be dispearing

and that is all i have to say on the matter.

Good luck and may the force be with.

P.S. Luke I am your father....

Oi...am I getting badmouthed here? I only like good mouths near me...

    Me? Corrupt people? Never....

My advice is "Don't take anything seriously in Chit-Chat".......

    Welcome to the mad-house!

Don't take anything seriously from me unless it's C++

Of course not Parksie. You are one of the un-coruptables...

Since it's in Chit-Chat...I'd guess no.
