You have that the wrong way round. Caeser got upset when he saw a statue of Alexander because, by Caesers age, Alexander had already conquered the known world, and much of it that was unknown before he began his campaigns. Actually, the story's probably apocryphal but it's a nice way of expressing just how extraordinary Alexander was and how much he achieved in so short a time (he was dead at 32).
Uh, no. You sir, are an idiot......wait, quick wikipedia check confirms what you just stated. OK, so, wow, I guess I had that backwards. Damn university History requirement! However, the idea stands. Plus, Alexander The Great conquered his known world quite quickly. So, I think I feel worse than I did before...
