Battle Toads, Game Genie...nostalgia

If you've played Battle Toads, you know it is a hard game. Even with a Game Genie, that last level was about impossible. About 18 years ago, or so, my brother asked me to set him up with some Game Genie goodness. I always had a good memory. He wanted infinite lives, 3rd level (that one was awesome), and I don't think anything else, though I could be mistaken. I accidentally concatenated two codes, the first four characters and the last four, and magically found myself at the final stage of the final level (or final level of the final stage, semantics), with INFINITE LIVES! So, the infinite lives code, I think, had nothing to do with it. Either way, we eventually defeated the Dark Queen and saw the ending.

Here is what I'm asking of you:
Would you guys use an emulator with Game Genie abilities and figure out the code I used oh so many year ago? I've been using Nestopia for iMac, but I can't remember the combination (quite possibly 20X20 (400) combinations). Please, don't take the link above as the final word on Game Genie codes for Battle Toads (that rhymes).

I would like to add that I am still trying to figure this out myself. However, the 400 possible combinations, coupled with the annoying non-skip start sequence, makes this a time intensive task.
