[Visual Studio 2010 Pro] Team Solution Manager Suggestions?
Hey guys, i'm curious if anyone has a decent solution.
Scenario: Myself and another programmer both recently started using VS2010 Pro (I used VS2008 Pro, he used VB6).
We are now facing a problem with getting his code into the app, since I hold the source.
The question is,
Does anybody have a solution to make our work more..streamline?
I was thinking about making a repo, but cant find a solution to work on a shared web hosting account.
So my next solution is to host it on my pc, then have him connect.
I saw something called wave-vs.net which is pretty damn cool, but.. Doesnt work for 2010. It works in 2008, but..he doesnt have that.
Any help / solutions would be great.

Do you have an extra computer with a network card in it laying around?
I would set up a SubVersion server (it's free) on Windows or Linux that'll house the source code for the project(s) in which both you and him check it/out code files but the server is always the one that's up to date.

If you just need 2 licenses then Perforce is pretty heavy tool too. Trouble is after 2 or 3 licenses (can't remember the exact number) you gotta pay.
