[RESOLVED] P & D problem

Hello,

My P & D wizard will only let me select one file at a time to add, when it used to let me block a bunch of file at one time to add. I've got over 500 files to add to my package and I do NOT want to have to add them one at a time. Any ideas? I have reinstalled vb6 and that did not help.

The add a file screen is where the problem is.

Well you will have to upload it using advanced options...

I'm getting the same thing with the advanced. It still will not show up.

Gary, you need to actually attach the file - which you can do via "Go Advanced" -> "Manage Attachments"

CTRL does not help, even with w drag.

Ok I checked it and it is working just fine for me... I am able to select multiple files...

Is your vb6 updated? Which service pack are you using? I am using VB6 (SP6). You can check that by clicking Menu Help~~> About Microsoft visual basic

I just tried it on my laptop and it is fine. It used to work on my desk top. I will try to reinstall it again and see if that works. I'll be back.

Before you re-install check the service pack...

I already reinstalled and I'm running SP6. Still have the problem.

Hmmm...

If you want to urgently make the Setup package then you can also use Inno.

Let me see what else could have caused this...

Any way to add files to a zipped cab?

Simply drag the files on the zipped Cab and it will accept it automatically...

Clearly this is a problem with MY computer and not a code issue. I'll consider this resolved.

I had to do a full system recovery to fix this problem. Now I can select all the files that I need.
