    So long, farewell

My course finishes this week. And even before that, my internet connection crumbles beneath my feet...

I'll probably show my face from time to time, but after this week, the dubious pleasure of bumping into me on a daily basis will be a rarity. I'll miss you all.

    Bye, in advance...

Does this mean that Arbiter will be leaving too? Or are you two not actually that close (Geographically i mean of course) I mean you could always borrow his connection, if it isn't the same as yours...
Now, aren't you sorry you didn't just keep on scrolling?

That's strange. My english teacher has just said it didn't matter.
to realize is the same as to realise.

I hope you realize that "those yanks" have realized that "those Europeans" don't know how to spell properly.

I found out the other day you pronouce "route" like "rowt". Some americans came up to me in London and said "What's the best rowt to National maritime Museum", and I was like "rowt?? what's a rowt??". Then I realised they meant route (pronounced "root"). Madness I tell you, madness!!!!

The pronunciation of route depends on what part of America you are from.

I get it all the time here. Weird pronunciations. Schedule, Garage, Inventory, Vibrator... oops.

In fairness, I'm in their country so I find myself trying to adapt to their way of speaking, but occasionally I say things and they give me the weirdest looks.

For instance "I'll meet you at half 3."... nope they don;'t have that here, it's 'three thirty'. Fortnight, that's another word they don't have.... and if they did, they'd probably spell it wrong anyway

That was a question on the US version of Millionaire (i think). "The term fortnigth refers to how many consecutive days".

I was like "Oh my lord, they can't be serisouly asking this question!?!?!?!"

Do you guys find it difficult to communicate with me? Sometimes you say things and it takes a second to figure out what you meant....spanners instead of wrenches etc......but as a general rule I don't have much trouble.
