    I noticed that I get these pop ups somewhere else in this forum also... i.e when you hover your mouse over 'vb', 'visual basic'

    Is this something new?

    Yep, this is something new. There is a limit to how many times these linked ads will be displayed within a thread as well as within a post.

    VisualAd posted a thread about this in the forum feed back section. Although, it seems to me as long as you don't name the link you wont have problems with the pop ups.
