Election Fever
Whilst the nation (UK) is gripped with election fever, I was wondering what you lot think of it so far.
Personally, I was sick of it from day 1 and I doubt if I will bother to vote.
Tax (and spending) and Europe are dominating the agenda but why are none of the other import issues?

I'm sick of it as well, I shall go to the polls though, there are bound to be some silly parties to put my x against.
Bill Lukins of the UK Independence Party is a possibility or Richard Sibley some mysterious Independent candidate.

I'm going to go because of this predicted low voter turn out for Labour. I'd rather do that than let the Tories back in, half-wits.

Tactical voting?
I know what you mean...When they do the popularity polls and Labour come in some 20% ahead of the Tories, I wonder if they also asked them whether they actually intend to vote or not?
The tories are so desperate that they've gambled everything on their 'Save the Pound' campaign.
Despite being incredibly disatisfied with Labour's performance over the last four years, I am still not ready to have the tories back in. Eighteen years was just too long!

I hate politics as well, but one point the socalist Labour party made one very good point the "Socalist Labour" party made was that the NHS needs something like 3bn to get it sorted. all the goverment needs to do is not build 2 euro fighters and they will have enough money. I won't be voting for anyone though.
Yeah, well I'm gonna build my own lunar space lander! With blackjack aaaaannd Hookers! Actually, forget the space lander, and the blackjack. Ahhhh forget the whole thing!

That's interesting
Is the Socialist Labour party anti Europe then?
Because the European union is more 'socialist' than Britain generally is so I would have thought they would be in favour of Europe.

Interesting
I filled out the questionaire and it said that I should (by a small margin) vote Green, closely followed by the Liberal democrats.
About what I would have thought anyway, I must admit.
I did think the range of questions was too narrow though. Don't the parties have anything else to say on other issues?

I'll be too young to vote (by two days!) but I reckon everyone who has the right to vote should do

I'm in a weird position.
Legally I can vote (I'm still a British citizen), but I haven't lived there for 7 years???
It would be a bit farcical for me to vote

Thankfully, one vote from a weirdo canadian/briton won't screw it up (no more than it already is anyway)

Send it to the people who compile the Karma Sutra. They'd be happy to add it to their collection.
