Why buy one when you can get AVG (and several others) for free?

Which is the best AV solution depends on your needs/desires.

We've used AVG and currently use ESET Smart Security (formerly known as NOD), because it's unintrusive, has built-in firewall and isn't very expensive.

We use the paid, network version of AVG at our small business and like it a lot. The AVG Administrator program is very powerful, and the virus scanner is pretty unintrusive.

I've considered moving to NOD/ESET though. How do you like it? How is it in a networked environment? Our service with AVG is up this February so I'll be shopping.
