How to mark a Resolved thread as unresolved
Nothing major but it would be nice if someone could add a section to the FAQ that tells people how to mark a thread as unresolved that they have previously marked as resolved? (ie remove the Tick icon and the [RESOLVED] from the thread title)
Or even better make it so that once a thread has been marked as resolved then the Mark Thread Resolved button changes to Mark Thread Unresolved and automatically does it for them.
Its just that I think there are quite a few threads that get marked as resolved so a lot of people dont bother opening them but then the OP realises that there is still a problem or they still have a question.
See posts 13 -16 in this thread: http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.php?p=3697366
Cheers
Chris

it's because the user cannot, one must PM a moderator to mark the thread unresolved. Thanks.

Re: How to mark a Resolved thread as unresolved
It depends when you do it. There is a time limit on thread title edit, however on this forum it's remarkably long.
it also depends on which user group you belong to. You are a member of the power posters group, which has permissions the registered user group does not. Newly registered users will not be able to edit at all.

Ah I see, fair enough. Not interested in adding it to the FAQ then I'm guessing?

Re: How to mark a Resolved thread as unresolved
@ Chris,
I was just thinking the same thing!
@ Joe,
I was wondering why I couldn't edit my post back when I was a registered member your post answered my query for me.
when you quote a post could you please do it via the "Reply With Quote" button or if it multiple post click the "''+" button then "Reply With Quote" button.
If this thread is finished with please mark it "Resolved" by selecting "Mark thread resolved" from the "Thread tools" drop-down menu.
