Re: VB6 wont work with Vista
You have to reprogram your VB6 project to work with Windows Vista. Seeing that there are many differences, that have come with this type of operating system. You see that Vb6 was written for use with Windows 98, and I guess that it could go down to Windows 95, but then don't try those outdated operating systems anymore. But then there are some ways to change the code, and have it work for both of the operating systems, new and old versions of Windows.
There are many things that you have to change in this way of programming. I have found some of them, in the way that goes with the App.Path command, but then I don't think that you want to know about that part.
I have a huge free products range, of computer software in which you can download using any kind of 64-Bit Web Browser. Also there is coming a Social Networking section that I am making on my Website...

Re: VB6 wont work with Vista
i installed it on vista,
vista come with warning message, you should ignore and continue,
there is no risk.
for future developement, you have to remember that many of the components,
may not be included in windows installation (some of them are already),
so (but i don't know the legality) for your application to run,
you must include the *.ocx files in your application folder.
also recommended to backup vb6 runtime dll - system32\msvbvm60.dll
