Resolved [RESOLVED] Hardware problem - best forum?

I am having an awful problem with my Promise FastTrak S150 SX4 RAID controller.

What is the best forum/website for posting hardware problems?
Nobody knows what software they want until after you've delivered what they originally asked for.

Don't solve problems which don't exist.

Yeah, Lord Orwell hangs out in the General PC forum, and he knows a fair bit about general pc hardware. I am sure he will be able to point you in the right direction.

Re: Hardware problem - best forum?

To sum it up, the RAM chip in my old Promise RAID card was faulty, I freaked, replaced it, backed up 40GB to an IDE harddrive, which burned up the next day (the disk was burning silicon+smoking), which was the boot drive for the RAID PC, the new PC could not see the new RAID hardware and drive properly, I freaked, then solved that problem too.

    I love my 4-yr-old RAID 5 $800 tera-byte drive! LOLz
