    Tutorial for Visual Studio 2008 to output application

    Is there a tutorial or something that someone knows of or has created that would show a newbie how to properly setup Visual Studio 2008 to output his application so that it will not have any issues?

    I am using the standard setup that was in place when I first installed this program and I still keep having issues creating shortcuts for my application. My shortcuts keep running the MSI and then the program runs. I belive that it is reinstalling itself each time.
