I am trying to find out if there is a way to build a VB app that can be called(not using ASP) sending paramters to return a HTML generated page. An example would be:
http://www.coolsite.com/vbprogram.exe?fruit=apples
and having a vb program take the parameter and dynamically return HTML, i.e.:
<HTML>
Your favorite fruit are apples.
</HTML>
The purpose of this app is to be able to build a application that could run on either IIS or Netscape, and not rely on IIS as the ONLY delivery method.
Thanks, your help is much appreciated!

Austin,
Good question, However.. It won't work simply because the HTTPd (HTTP Server) is expecting a CGI only .exe
Even if the HTTPd would run the .exe it wont give input/ouput to the .exe as it is a Win32 Executable.
You'll need to look at CGI rather than VB Executable.
