You know how when you click on the file menu and there is an item that says "Make FILENAME.EXE". You click on that and it makes an executible program. Sometimes on mine, the "Make FILENAME.EXE" changes to "Make FILENAME" and builds it and is not executible. The file name is just FILENAME. I cant open it and what is the problem? Are there bugs in the program that I have to find or what?!?!?!?!?!?

Umm... no. It doesn't put EXE on the end. It does it once in a while. When I type the .EXE on the end it still makes the file without the extension .EXE
SOMEONE HELP!

Hmmm. Curious.
Hi,
What happens if you rename the program through Explorer to Filename.exe?

This is not a programming problem. It is a software bug/glitch/"feature". You might need to install a software fix. Check out www.microsoft.com and see if you can get it.

I'm sorry if I'm not a
I'll still try to help you.
Assuming that your program runs from the development environment, I don't think your problem is a programming error.
When you make a program an exe there is a status box that appears. It should say something like "Compiling Exe" then Writing Exe". Watching this might give you a hint of what's wrong.

Real programmers!? I resent that, I don't know exactly what the problem is with you and writing an EXE, but I think in any event you're have a little retardation when you rename the file. Sometimes if you just rename a file through the windows interface it will incorporate ".exe" as part of the actual file name. Example, say I have "Pic.jpg", and I go and type ".exe" to the end. It might be renamed to "Pic.exe.jpg", meaning it's still a picture called "Pic.exe". SO... run winfile.exe or something similar and make sure you can rename it. If you can't, theres some glitch, I don't know what's causing it, but don't complain to other people and say they no nothing when they try and help you!
